- 4 cedar 2×6 boards, 4 ft long
- 4 cedar 2×6 boards stacked for height (8 total)
- 16 exterior screws (3"), drill, square
- Landscape fabric, soil/compost mix
Steps
- Square up two boards end-to-end and screw together at corners.
- Stack a second course on top and screw through the corners.
- Set the bed in place, level the ground roughly.
- Line the bottom with landscape fabric.
- Fill with a 60/40 mix of triple mix and compost.
Cedar resists rot without chemical treatment — important if you're growing food.
